SUMMARY:Philosophy Study Group
DESCRIPTION:We are going to discuss Plato’s dialogue Phaedrus for this meeting. If you don’t already have a copy of this dialogue\, it is readily available online. Project Gutenburg (http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/1636) has it in several different ebook-type formats\, but if you prefer plain text or PDF\, you can go to http://classics.mit.edu/Plato/phaedrus.html. \nThere are also summaries and outlines available\, such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaedrus_(dialogue) andhttp://www.csun.edu/~hcfll004/Phaedrus-outline.html. Commentaries on the dialogue are so numerous that you have probably been deleting them from your inbox. If you don’t have time to read the entire dialogue\, reading a summary is acceptable. Feeling guilty about doing so is also acceptable.
