We will be reading and discussing Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland by Patrick Radden Keefe.
Jean McConville, a thirty-eight-year-old mother of ten, was dragged from her Belfast home in December of 1972, never to be seen alive again. A climate of fear and paranoia meant no one would speak of it, even though everyone knew who did it.
Modern history, crime, Northern Ireland. Join us for this discussion in areas we have not before ventured! Read as much of the book as you wish, we will take you even if you don’t finish it all. We are reading the entire book for May.
