We are reading the book Four Princes: Henry VIII, Francis I, Charles V, Suleiman the Magnificent, and the Obsessions that Forged Modern Europe by John Julius Norwich. Join us as we finish the story of these four lovable characters as they cavort around Europe and environs, squabbling over land and religious doctrine, signing treaties, breaking treaties, pledging to and undercutting each other, fighting their little wars, marrying off daughters still in diapers, and interacting in other amusing ways.

But yet they somehow laid out paths future generations have had to deal with. You won’t want to miss this.
