We are beginning a new book. Washington’s Farewell: The Founding Father’s Warning to Future Generations (2017) by John Avlon is more than a book about Washington’s farewell address. It is a book about the United States in Washington’s time and his perception of the problems and needs of the new democracy.

The book is available in paperback for around $12 and the ebook only costs $4. For the 21^st we will read Part I and the first two chapters of Part II (up to Fiscal Discipline).

This is a book that you ought to read. You are, after all, a future generation.
