Our new book is Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (2017) by Max Tegmark. This book can be purchased new for around $16 in paperback and for about the same price as an ebook and hardback. How AI will affect us individually and socially is one of the great questions for our time.
This book should at least help to clarify the issues. For the 4^th, we’ll read the prelude and the first two chapters. You are welcome to come even if your intelligence is other than human. As a matter of fact, if that is the case we would especially like you to come.
