Philosophy Study Group

We will begin reading Simone de Beauvoir’s attempt to provide an ethical foundation for existentialism, The Ethics of Ambiguity. This book is available in paperback for about $15 and as an eBook for about $10. Used copies are also available. For the 9th we’ll read Parts I and II.

Just so you know, there’s nothing ambiguous about the MISF Philosophy Study Group, though. Our thoughtful members come from a variety of philosophical positions, although sometimes they can be dead wrong or even a little idiotic or uncertain of where they’re going. But they’re good people, except when some of them talk out of turn or interrupt someone. Still, we’re glad to have them, except when we have to ask someone to leave. However, you’re all unambiguously welcome to come on the 9th. Most of you, anyway.
